A basket of blankets in a handy location is also a great idea for providing plenty of cozy warmth. Remember that comfort is key to hosting a successful football watch party.

Another necessity to get your outdoor space ready for football season is having, at the bare minimum, a backyard barbecue grill ready and waiting to cook up a tailgate feast. Another option is using an outdoor gas fire table, where you can both enjoy mesmerizing flames and easily grill a set of kebabs or a wealth of wings. If you have enough space, go all out with a full-on outdoor kitchen equipped to handle both cold and hot dishes sure to tempt your guests. Having a handy place to provide food, buffet-style, is always a great way to host a football watching party.
